Custodial Area Manager

Area Managers to manage custodial operations for multiple properties in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.

Job Description:

  • Prior experience in the commercial cleaning business with at least 10 years of managerial experience
  • Experience in managing custodial operations of at least 3 million square feet of commercial office space and a crew of at least 150 people
  • Great customer service and communication skills as this position interfaces with the clients on a daily basis
  • Experience in payroll, supplies, work load distribution, quality control, and other areas in the management of custodial operations
  • Fluent in writing, reading, and speaking English. Bilingual with Spanish is a plus
  • Good math skills and the ability to meet budgets for all areas of operations. Well organized and able to work independently
  • Good problem solving abilities
  • Good computer skills such as working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and others

Project Manager

Project Managers to oversee custodial operations at clients’ facilities

Job Description:

  • Managerial experience of 5+ years in the janitorial business
  • Experience with managing operations for multiple buildings of over 1 million plus square feet of and a workforce of 60+ people
  • Good tenant and client communications skills are a must
  • Must have good organizational skills, and be able to work independently
  • Fluent in speaking and writing English
  • Must have good computer skills

Full-Time and Part-Time Supervisors

Supervisors to oversee day and night custodial crews

Job Description:

  • Supervisory experience of 5+ years in the janitorial business
  • Experience managing janitorial operations for office buildings
  • Good tenant and client communications skills are a must
  • Must have good organizational skills, and be able to work independently
  • Fluent in speaking and writing English
  • Computer skills are a plus

Custodians

Custodians to perform day and night janitorial duties

Job Description:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience working in office buildings
  • Must be courteous, professional, and enthusiastic working in a changing environment
  • Must be flexible and a team player
  • Must have valid status to work in the United States

Estimator

Estimators responsible for pricing and quoting custodial operations

Job Description:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with pricing contracts for private and government facilities
  • Understand market labor rates, taxes (sales, payroll [SUTA/FUTA], GL/WC, etc.) union CBA, DOL wage determinations, SCA regulations, and the Davis Bacon Act
  • Have working knowledge of pricing for building maintenance industry
  • Extensive experience working with Excel spreadsheets and advanced knowledge of formulas, charts, etc.

Sales

Effective, successful sales professionals with excellent communication skills

Job Description:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the service industry, particularly building maintenance
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must have understanding of writing proposals and pricing
  • Great personality and ability to communicate well with prospective clients
  • Must be able to go through the complete process of closing a sales contract, including:
    • Identifying a prospective client;
    • Initiating a sales call;
    • Establishing an introduction meeting followed by multiple meetings;
    • Understanding and review of solicitation documents;
    • Proposal writing;
    • Determination of pricing; and
    • Closing of the contract.
